Supporting Growth and Innovation in South Africa’s Automotive Sector
Viscol Eco Solutions Bulk (PTY) Ltd. is proud to announce its designation as a beneficiary of the Automotive Industry Transformation Fund (AITF), backed by the sponsorship of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). With the support of the AITF, a dedicated designed AdBlue® 12 000Lt delivery tanker has been financed to enable bulk deliveries directly to OEMs. This enhancement bolsters our service capabilities, ensuring efficient and reliable supply chain operations, and supports the three pillars of SAAM2035, namely transformation, localisation and job creation.

Government Support and Industry Development
The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) has been instrumental in fostering the growth of this sector through various initiatives. Among these, the Automotive Industry Transformation Fund stands out as a collaborative Equity Equivalent Investment Programme (EEIP) as defined in the B-BBEE Codes. Established by seven multinational automotive manufacturers in South Africa, the AITF aims to enhance the sector’s value chain by providing developmental funding, market access, and capacity development for qualifying black-owned entities.
Objectives and Future Prospects
The AITF is dedicated to supporting qualifying black-owned businesses, driving job creation, and enabling meaningful transformation and growth within the automotive sector. As a beneficiary, Viscol Eco Solutions Bulk is excited to leverage this opportunity to expand our operations and contribute more significantly to the automotive industry’s bright future.
